3 years 30 trips – We‘re celebrating our jubilee!

I hope you smell the irony hidden in the headline. No one is actually celebrating anything. Instead, we’re already planning our upcoming trips.

Recently Jan and I had a little chat about our little travel pause we made and we think it was a good decision. We made that pause on purpose. As much as travelling is our favourite thing to do, at some point it felt a little bit stressful: Traveling, short trips to Regensburg to our families and friends and then there was one weekend left in Frankfurt before our next trip was already knocking on our door.

On the one hand, it was a lot of fun, on the other hand, you always have to organize stuff. We finally made it to the number of 30 trips in the past three years. At least, if we counted right. In between, we got married, by the way. No, we didn’t get bored over the years.

Despite a short trip to Oberbayern before NYE and short weekend trips to Krakow in December and Lorraine in February, we haven’t been on the road since September (Lofoten, Norway). Moreover, we could finally spend some time in Frankfurt again. We’re living here for 4 years now, but we missed a lot due to our constant absence.
